Using a multi-modal approach including modified collagen to manage wounds with mixed aetiologies

<p>Managing wounds with mixed aetiologies is a significant clinical challenge. Patients with chronic vascular and metabolic disease often present with chronic, recalcitrant wounds that they have had for months or years. These case reports show what happens when these wounds are treated with a ‘system approach’ using modified collagen, amorphous hydrogel and hydrophilic dressings. </p>
