<p>This article focuses on a programme that was developed at a hospital in Abu Dhabi that aimed to educate people in pressure ulcer prevention strategies for those who are being cared for in the community. After successfully reducing hospital-acquired pressure ulcers at the facility, a training programme was set up for those caring for people in the home setting.
