<p>Qatar is aiming to move toward multidisciplinary teamwork that will allow for greater collaboration between specialist healthcare professionals such as nurses, pharmacists, nutritionist, occupational therapist and many others. The organisation and delivery of wound care services at Hamad General Hospital represents one area in health care where professionals from different departments work together to care for patients. We conducted a concept analysis to determine how the theory of interprofessional education can be linked to real-life situations in the Qatari healthcare environments and to understand how this theory relates to patient care provided by healthcare professionals.</p>
