<p>Under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Health, Hamad Medical Corpora-tion (HMC), the principal public health-care provider in the State of Qatar is holding the first Qatar International Wound Manage-ment Conference from 24 to 26 November at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC). Intended to be an annual event, this first con-ference is attracting nearly 1,000 delegates with international and regional speakers, frontline healthcare professionals (nurses, clinicians) and research scientists all sharing their experiences in wound care management and how it affects the patient experience. Informed by prevalence data on various types of wounds, the scientific committee selected five areas of focus for the conference including: Diabetic Foot, Ulcers, Clinical cases, Trauma and Patient Reported Outcomes (PROMS).</p>
