Management of a non-healing pilondial sinus

<p>This case report considers the management of a non-healing wound that had been present for three years after an excision of a recurrent pilondial sinus. It considers why some wounds do not follow a straightforward healing trajectory and discusses the importance of involving the patient in their treatment regimen to ensure concordance and successful healing. It also presents the evidence for using dressings that contain collagen and oxidised regenerated cellulose.</p>
